Bredon Bowling Club organises regular social events indoors and outdoors and an annual tour - feel free to join in.
"During the Winter evening we run a carpet bowls league which runs from October through to mid April. We have our famous Christmas Raffle with some great prizes (half of the proceeds go to our nominated charity) and our New Years Eve party. We also have race nights where we visit: Cheltenham and Wolverhampton racetracks and not to mention the video race evenings through the winter. We have a couple of Bingo evenings as well, not forgetting our famous BURNS NIGHT. There is a well-stocked bar and excellent kitchen facilities which are used throughout the summer and winter and not forgetting a host of members ready to welcome you to Bredon Bowling Club.
So, come along - have a go! "

Why did I join..?
"Having read the offer in the local parish mag of bowling instruction at the local club I decided to give it a go!! My wife who has never been what you'd call a sporty person decided to come along with me to see what it was like. Well, as they say, the rest is history!! We have been with the club 6 years. It's the infectious atmosphere at Bredon that entices you into at first playing in friendlies then other league style games. But that's not what Bredon Bowling Club is about. It's the friendly atmosphere and as it's open all year round there are lots of alternative events going on summer and winter." P.D. July 2015
I had been bowling socially indoors and saw Bredon Bowling Club advert in our Parish Magazine. So I went along and enlisted in the Dave and Len academy! What a lovely way to be introduced to bowling! Relaxed, friendly atmosphere overlaid with constructive coaching. Eventually, I was encouraged to nominate for club matches, league and friendly fixtures. You meet and get to know many more club members and also bowlers from other local bowling clubs. I've been a member now for five years and would recommend anyone to come along and give it a try.
